Rising temperatures in Germany

Temperatures are rising slowly in Germany, so some German Food products will be out of stock for the summer break 2012. The most famous product, which is mostly not available from end of May until the beginning of September, is Ferrero MonCheri. Some general Information about the summer break is available on the MonCheri Homepage (Text is written in German). We recommend to order MonCheri and other heat sensitive German Food soon, since the temperatures here in the US are reaching the seventies these days.

Easter products are now available

As we did last year, we also added many new Easter products to our assortment this year. Some of the new products are Milka Easter chocolates, filled chocolate eggs from Friedel, new Easter chocolates from Ferrero and also some new products from Riegelein.
Please consider to order soon, since these products are only available for a short time and we only have limited numbers in stock.

Please note: We will not process and ship out any orders between April 6th and April 9th because of public holidays in Germany. Also, temperatures are slowly rising, so please consider to order chocolate products before the summer heat.

Good time to order chocolate & other heat sensitive products

Since the outside temperatures are low in the US and in Germany, this time of the year is perfect for ordering German chocolate and other chocolate related German food products. If you intend to place an order soon, you may consider to order some more chocolates before the outside temperatures are rising in April and May. Some other products which may also contain chocolate are baking mixtures from Dr. Oetker, Bahlsen & Griesson cookies, crispy M&M’s and some other baking ingriedents from RUF and Dr. Oetker as well.
Of cause, it is also a good time to order products with a low heat sensibility, such as gummi candy and fruit gums, for example from Haribo and Katjes. You will find the heat sensibility indicator for every product on the product information page. Shipping times will getting much shorter in the next few weeks, since the amount of international packages will be much lower than during the Holiday season. At the middle of January, all packages should arrive in their average time.

German Food for 12 Countries more

Great news for customers in 12 countries: We now also ship our German food and German products also to the following countries:  Brazil,  Chile, China, Colombia, Cuba, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Phillippines, Russian Federation, South Africa and Thailand. As carrier for our packages we will use DHL/ German Post. The rates are divided in 3 steps: up to 5kg, up to 10kg and up to 20kg. If there will be enough order from the new countries we will also offer our Small Package Premium Service to these countries. However, if you ordering grocery products from a country listed above, please try to reach the maximum weight of the package, so you will get the best shipping rates. (For example: Shipping rates of 3kg food products is the same as shipping 5kg).
